MATCHING FOUNDATION

My dear GOD!!!! This is foundation suicide, if you are a sereal offender then u need to dig whoever told you to do this in the tit! NEVER! EVER! EVER! Match your foundation to your jaw bone or face! The whole point of matching a foundation to suit your skin tone, is that it suits all of your skin! Not just your face. (SHOCK HORROR) This means you need to apply a little foundation to your chest and take a step back. Look in the mirror, you shouldn't even see its there! I don't know how many people have looked at me like im thick as hell because when i show them there match they say ''i can't see nothing'' this is because you have the right shade of foundation and it blends effortlessly into skin.

The benifits of chosing a shade that is excatly the same as you skin tone:

#1 Your make-up looks FRESH
#2 Your skin looks EVEN
#3 The application looks more FLAWLESS
#4 People will always tell you your make-up looks amazing!

HOWEVER... DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN

If you like your foundation to be deeper than your NATURAL skin tone, Key word there people natural! Then use tan! Tan was sent to earth by the gods who sent us make-up don't be afraid of it! Like foundation heres a few tips to pick the right tan for yourself!

* You will need to know what skin type you have & skin tones in your skin. For example: i am yellow based skin tone with very dry skin. ( Ask any make-up artist on a proffesional make-up counter e.g MAC, Channel, Illamasqua. The Artists on these counters are PRO's they know there stuff!) They will be able to tell you your skin tone & if you don't know if your Oily, Dry, Combination they will also be able to come to a conclusion on this also! Free info peeps..

#1 Am i Yellow/pink based skin?
#2 Am i Oily/Dry/Combination?

REMBER TO ALWAYS EXFOLIATE!

* Oily: Then a mouse tan will be good for you!
* Dry: The obvious, a Mositurising tan or gel tans that absorb into the skin!
* Combination: Liquid tans are going to be the best for you.

#3 Swatch a few different Tan on your wrist
Pink skin tones (St Moriz, Fake Bake, Sun Shimmer) These are tans you should look at!
Yellow skin tones (hi-shi, white to brown, california sun).
See what shade suits your skin tone best!

Application: The best way ive found to put tan on the face is with a make-up sponge. Dab into product and stipple (stipple means to dab basically) onto face. Use once then wash with very hot soapy water to clean!

For body: i use a mitt with a sock over it. An old sock preferably! New socks will have fluff that comes of and distorts the tan.

BACK TO FOUNDATION!

So you have now tanned: NEVER use the colour of foundation for your NATURAL skin colour! Your going to need a deeper shade of foundation.

*Having 2 shades of foundation is SMART! you need two to suit the colour for your natural skin, & the colour for your tanned skin.

As your tan wears off you can mix a little bit of your lighter foundation into your darker foundation. Match to your chest again can you see it? If yes & its to pale add a little more of the darker shade. Test again, is it a match can u see it? If so you can't apply all over!

Tips:
- Always wash your brush once a week at the least!
- If you use a sponge, was it out every application or disregard and use a new one!
- Always moisturise your skin leave for 2-5 mins before appling foundation! This gives your foundation a nice even base to be applied to.
- Always wash your skin properly before appling founation!
